Print

Mostly, all of us know what we want to say, but seldom do we know that every person needs to be talked to in a particular way. You have to say the right thing, at the right time, to the right people, in the right language, and using the right medium. And therein, in a nutshell, lies the secret of successful communication.

Unlike the Internet and multimedia, print is often used as a one-way communication tool. Organisations put together material that they think people will find interesting without enough research on reading habits, cultural contexts, the reading stamina of the audience. Since print does not allow instant feedback from the audience it is imperative to get it right to reduce wastage through imperfect communication.

Through our years of study and understanding of people, we help you distil your message into a crisp and memorable format. We help you decide on the medium and the tone of your message to get maximum benefit. Included here are some of the print projects we have executed in the past months, and our thought process.

Job: Toxics Link Info Kit
Client: Toxics Link, New Delhi; an NGO working in the area of Waste management
Brief: To create an information kit on Waste management
Tasks: Conceptualising, design and production
Execution: Since the organization was coming out with three books on Waste issues, this info kit, carries the covers of the three books. The book covers themselves follow a design pattern and are distinguished through bright colours on a beige background. A distinctive photograph identifies the content and the headline puts an angle on the report. The kit was executed on paper that is used for packaging of products, but with the printable side inside to contrast the covers of the book against the white. The printer was quite surprised with this approach, and we were quite pleased with the outcome.
